WINNIPEG, Man. — Reimer Express Lines Ltd has announced it is compliant with US Customs Automated Commercial Environment Project.

Reimer Express and parent Roadway have been directly involved with the Automated Commercial Environment Project (ACE) since its inception in 2004 and has spent the last six months testing the transmission of electronic manifest (E-manifest) while working hand-in-hand with Customs & Border Protection to evaluate the process to meet the expectations set forth with the introduction of ACE.

“The development of our internal ACE operating system to interface with US CBP in a timely manner, while continuing to provide the speed and reliability our customers expect, is the result of the efforts of a very dedicated team of professionals within our company. We are anticipating a smooth transition to the electronic manifest and the Automated Commercial Environment with minimal border delays,” said Allan Robison, President and CEO of Reimer Express Lines Ltd.
