COMPETITION WATCH: Robert partners with Italian freight forwarder

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Robert Transport, a logistics provider in transportation, warehousing and distribution, Albatrans, an Italian freight forwarder, have announced a partnership. The joint venture company will be known as Albatrans Robert Groupe Logistique.

“This association will enable us to continue our growth in the ocean and air shipping sectors between Canada and the rest of the world creating a range of additional services for our customers and enable us to differentiate ourselves in this logistics niche,” says Claude Robert, pesident and CEO of Robert.

Albatrans, a global logistics provider and US Customs Broker headquartered in Florence, Italy has been continuously expanding over the last 15 years. Albatrans has offices throughout Europe, South America, Australia and the Far East as well as offices in the major metro hubs in the US.
