COMPETITION WATCH: Schneider Logistics taps Ellison to lead Transportation Management Business

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Schneider Logistics, Inc., an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, has promoted Tyler Ellison to vice president and general manager of Schneider Transportation Management.

In his new role, Ellison is responsible for the effective delivery to market of the company’s brokerage, special event management and single source transportation service offerings. Schneider Transportation Management offers these options to meet customer capacity needs by leveraging its relationships with more than 10,000 third-party carriers with added flexibility from other Schneider service offerings.

Prior to his recent promotion Ellison was vice president of the Global Client Group at Schneider National, Inc. where he directed a group of sales leaders focused on meeting the global supply chain needs of large multinational customers.
