COMPETITION WATCH: Speedy Transport purchases U-Can Universal

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Speedy Transport, a provider of transportation and logistics services in Ontario and Quebec, is acquiring the U-Can Universal Transit Ltd. (U-Can Universal), KLMN Warehousing Ltd. (KLMN) and Cantrax Ltd. (Cantrax) effective immediately.

U-Can Universal is a provider of LTL service to clients in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime provinces. KLMN operates 400,000 sq ft of warehousing space in Etobicoke, Ontario and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Cantrax provides logistic and transportation services to Atlantic Canada.
