MONTREAL, Que. — TransForce has announced the departure of James L. Welch as president and CEO of Dynamex, effective July 22. Officials say Welch is exiting to pursue a new venture.

“James was instrumental in building Dynamex into a highly respected brand in the North American package and courier industry. We wish him good luck in his new career,” said Alain Bédard, chairman, president and CEO of TransForce.

TransForce acquired Dynamex in a deal worth US$248 million late last year.
