COMPETITION WATCH: Trimac moves forward with executive appointments

CALGARY, Alta. — Trimac Income Fund has announced the appointment of Jeffrey McCaig as president and CEO of Trimac Transportation Services and Edward Malysa as executive vice-president and COO of Trimac.

Both appointments are effective Jan. 1, 2008.

As announced back in April, Terry Owen who is currently president and CEO will be leaving Trimac to pursue other interests effective Dec. 31.

McCaig has served in various senior management capacities over his 24-year career with Trimac and will also continue in his role as chairman.

Malysa is currently vice-president and CFO of Trimac, a position he has held for the past three and a half years. Malysa has held a variety of senior management roles during his 30-year career with Trimac.
