COMPETITION WATCH: UTU, CN to continue labour negotiations

MONTREAL, Que. — United Transportation Union (UTU) and CN have gone into news blackout as they continue labor talks.

In a joint statement the UTU and CN said they remain “optimistic that continued negotiations will allow both parties to overcome differences and reach a positive settlement" and, accordingly, agreed not to make further public statements about bargaining as long as contemplated negotiations continue.
