ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Vedder Transport and PeopleNet have announced the company is adding PeopleNet’s on-board computers and PerformX engine monitoring to its entire fleet.

The company already had the PeopleNet system deployed in its 100-plus truck Can-Am West Carriers fleet. It will now add the system, which is integrated with its TMW ERP system, to its Vedder Transport fleet.

When integrated with Vedder’s TMW ERP system and Microdea’s imaging system, the fleet says it has been able to expedite billing.

“In closing the accounting cycle faster, our cash flow has greatly improved – the most important improvement we can bring to our bottom line,” said Dan Morrow, systems integrator for Vedder. “We look forward to implementing PeopleNet’s in-cab scanning process to bring further gains.”
