Consulting firm to host safety certification courses

MONTREAL, Que. — CMV Safety Consulting is presenting the North American Transportation Management Institutes Fleet Safety Certification Program during a five-day stretch in March.

Hosted in Montreal from March 26 to 30, two programs will be offered to safety personnel in the transportation industry.

The Managing Motor Fleet Safety Program is designed to provide transportation safety directors and prospective safety directors with the vision and skills to manage an effective safety program. This course is required training for the Certified Director of Safety (CDS) and can be applied to the Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) designation.

The Motor Fleet Safety Basics Program aims to provide training on effective implementation of safety-related policies and procedures. A training requirement for NATMIs safety certification program, this course is designed for line-level safety supervisors, with the basic emphasis on what they need to do and when and how to do it. Managers of small fleets and experienced safety professionals seeking a refresher on technical issues may also find this course helpful.
