Continental Tire appoints new regional manager for Canadian operations

FORT MILL, S.C. — Continental Tire North America has appointed Deborah Whiton as regional manager for Continental Tire Canada.

 

Whiton previously served as a territory sales manager, district manager and regional manager for Continental, covering the US western region.

 

In her new role, Whiton will be responsible for overseeing replacement commercial tire sales to dealers and commercial vehicle fleets throughout Canada, including further development of the Continental dealer and distributor networks. She will manage, train and supervise field sales personnel throughout the country. Whiton will also continue to develop Continental’s new ContiTread retread tire product sales to the Canadian market, according to the company.

 

Whiton will work under the direction of Shaun Uys, director of replacement tire sales for Continental – The Americas. She will be based in Toronto.
