BROOKFIELD, N.S. — The17th annual Brookfield Lotta-Truck Draw will be held July 5, 2003 at the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex.

Since the event’s inception in 1987, organizers have given away enough vehicles to fill many parking lots. Some of the prizes have included, big rigs; Harleys; Winnebagos; ton trucks; tractors; SUVs and Jeeps.

Most of the tickets through the 17-year history have been sold in the Maritimes, but organizers say, some winners have been as far away as Kelowna, B.C. and Lethbridge, Alta.

The 2003 grand prize is a $150,000 Freightliner Coronado or a $120,000 Kent Home or $120,000 in cash.

Tickets are $100 and an official ticket signed and sealed will be mailed to each ticket buyer as well as an invitation to the draw show and dance, which will feature Cape Breton’s musical talent, Aselin Debison.
