CALGARY, Alta. — CSI Wireless has achieved a new milestone by shipping its 500,000th wireless device – many of which have been fleet-tracking products.

The company’s wireless and GPS products are used in more than 50 countries worldwide.

“The growth in demand for our wireless products has been very strong, and the outlook for future growth is very exciting,” says Stephen Verhoeff, CSI Wireless’ president and CEO. “We began developing our first wireless device in 1998 and launched our first commercial wireless product in 2000. To have a half a million units sold and deployed in this short period is a significant achievement for CSI Wireless.”

The markets CSI has enjoyed success in include asset-tracking and fleet management products as well as consumer telematics products that can provide stolen vehicle tracking or remote door locking and unlocking.

The company’s asset-tracking product range includes the Asset-Link and Fleet-Link products.

“CSI Wireless has established itself very firmly in the fixed wireless and the asset-tracking and telematics marketplaces,” Verhoeff said. “We are confident that our wireless sales, having now reached the 500,000-unit mark, will continue to grow at a very impressive pace.”
