ST. THOMAS, Ont. — The Canadian Transportation Equipment Association (CTEA) has announced Donald Moore has replaced Al Tucker as executive director.

Tucker remains with the organization as director of membership and program development. The move is part of his transition to retirement in 2007.

“Don brings along 20 years of industry-related experience to the association and its members,” the CTEA said in a release. “His skills are in heavy truck engineering and project management, regulatory compliance and safety engineering with Western Star Trucks, and as an accident investigator and reconstructionist engineer with Hrycay Consulting Engineers.”

Moore is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and has served on a number of task forces and committees throughout the years.
