Cummins CEO named best chairman at American Business Awards

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins CEO Tim Solso has received the 2007 American Business Award for “Best Chairman.” The 2007 ceremony took place Monday night in New York City.

Hailed as “the business world’s version of the Oscars” by the New York Post, the American Business Awards (also known as the Stevie Awards) is the only national, all-encompassing business awards program honouring great performances in the workplace. The awards recognize a wide range of American companies and individuals in more than 40 categories. More than 2,000 nominations were submitted for the 2007 ceremony.
