MONTREAL, (April 20, 2005) — Cummins Eastern Canada President Michael Christodoulou will attempt to play 100 holes of golf in one day and raise $100,000 to send 100 children to Walt Disney World in Florida.

Christodoulou — who’ll hit the links at the Falcon Golf Club on April 26th — has taken this task upon himself to raise $100,000 and sponsor 100 children in the annual Dreams Take Flight project run by Air Canada employees and retirees. The cost of the trip is approximately $1000 per child. Christodoulou will raise the money through his suppliers and customers and has also pledged that he will match every $1000 donation up to $50,000.

“This is a very unique fundraiser, perhaps even a Guinness record. No one has ever made such a huge commitment to any fundraising event for Dreams Take Flight,” says Brian Roscoe, president of the charity.

To complete this task, Christodoulou — who will have the entire course to himself for the day — will have to play one hole approximately every 5 minutes starting at sunrise.

Celebrity players familiar with this great cause will be joining Mike for 1 hole and their names will be confirmed at a later date.

For further information on this event, please contact: Michael Christodoulou at 514/695-8410 or cell 514/923-8410. Or call Susan Bellucci at Dreams Take Flight: 514/422-5736.
