Customs officers intercept 100 kg of cocaine aboard commercial truck

WINDSOR, Ont. — Customs officers in Windsor made one of their biggest drug busts ever involving a commercial truck on Tuesday, according to a report by Canwest News Service.

 

Charged is Kuldeep Singh Dharni, 37 of Brampton, Ont.

 

According to the report, he was sent to secondary inspection when crossing into Canada. Customs officers searched the rig and found 100 kgs of cocaine concealed in a load of aluminum coils. The load originated in Indiana, according to the Windsor Star.
