Daily Bread Food Bank needs truck drivers
TORONTO, Ont. — The Daily Bread Food Bank needs help from the trucking community.
Over 794,000 clients visited food banks across Toronto – 36 percent of those were children.
Volunteer drivers are needed for week days and weekends to pick up food donations within the Greater Toronto Area.
Shifts start Septemebr 21, 2011 and you can donate as little or as much time as you have. And hey, you can bring your kids along! They’ll get their student volunteer hours in.
