Daimler taps top used truck sales exec

FORT Mill, S.C. — Daimler Trucks Remarketing has named former director of used truck sales Rich Simons as its new president. Simons has been with the company since 1998.

As president, Simons plans to focus on meeting the challenges of the current economy, specifically when it comes to providing helpful programs for buyers.

"We will continue to create progressive programs that not only help us sell trucks, but also ensure the success of our customers’ businesses," Simons said. "Our goal is to always be a trusted business partner, and we are working to create financing options that counter-act the global credit crisis."
