Dana executive dies from injuries

TOLEDO, Ohio — Neil Valentine, 57, director of material planning at Dana Corporation’s commercial vehicle systems group in Kalamazoo, Mich., passed away Aug. 16 as the result of injuries incurred from an accident in late July.

Valentine was with the commercial vehicle divisions of Eaton and Dana for 33 years, holding various management positions in sales and operations. As director of global sales, he spearheaded Danas commercial vehicle efforts in China over the past three to four years, in particular the Dana-Dongfeng joint venture.

He is survived by his wife Christine (DeVries) Valentine, of South Haven, Mich.; and two children, Nicholas Valentine of Boston, and Laura Valentine of Madison, Wis.
