REDFORD, Mich. — Detroit Diesel’s “Demand It All Tour” is continuing its trek across Canada today. After making stops in London and Kitchener earlier this week, the tour trailer, which showcases Detroit Diesel’s DD13, DD15 and DD16 engines with EPA2010-compliant BlueTec emissions technology, will be at Complete Western Star in Barrie today. The tour stops come on the heels of dealer events throughout Central and Western Canada in the month of June.

The display features a full-size DD15 engine as well as a cut-away of the BlueTec emissions technology 1-Box emissions package. The trailer will also feature diagrams of the BlueTec 1-Box and dual package configurations as well as a kiosk explaining the BlueTec system, how selective catalytic reduction works and the diesel exhaust fluid gauge operation will also be on display. In addition, visitors will be invited to try out the trailer’s fuel economy calculator, simulations and comparisons, and watch product videos and customer testimonials as well as review horsepower, torque and displacement range information.

The tour wraps its stint in Ontario today, before moving on to Camions Freightliner Quebec in Quebec City, Que. on July 27 and DDAC East in Moncton, N.B. on July 30.
