TORONTO, ON – One of the don’t miss events of the year in trucking is set to kick off later this week and there is still time to line up your reservation.

The 89^th Annual Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) Executive Conference is Nov. 4-5 in Toronto at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. 

“Our outstanding agenda and lineup of speakers will surely invigorate, motivate and educate,” says OTA. “We build on the successful theme of first-class networking, education and the always entertaining awards dinner attended by senior trucking executives from across the province and Canada.”

This year’s event also includes a bevy of big speakers including:

* Michael Wekerle, the “Bad Boy of Bay Street”  who is considered a rock star in the world of Canadian finance and will be tuned up for his electric presentation;

* Capt. David Marquet, famous for turning his nuclear submarine crew into the premier vessel in the U.S. Navy, will inspire you to turn your ship around and make followers into leaders;

* Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan, the first female performance consultant for the NY Rangers and NY Knicks, will share insights about breaking barriers; and

* Mark Bowden, whose trademark techniques are used by top political leaders around the world, explains how to use persuasive communication skills to set yourself apart, win trust, and generate profit.

To cap the event, the Thursday, Nov. 5 awards dinner ceremony, fast becoming the go-to industry dinner for trucking executives, will celebrate the best of the industry. The ceremony opens with a five-star reception and capped with a roaring laughter with one of Canada’s top comedians, This Hour Has 22 Minutes star Shaun Majumder.

And don’t forget, OTA’s Executive Conference will also include activities for its Next Generation participants and future leaders in trucking, and of course there is the spousal program.
