Ste-Marie-de-Kent, N.B. — Six provincial employees in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick, have won the lottery – literally.

The Department of Transportation workers won the second prize in a Lotto 6/49 draw, meaning they’ll share $102,471.30

“We had the ticket lying on the dash of the truck all day without even knowing it was a winner,” says Jean-Charles Cormier, one of the winners. “I was even joking with the guys, telling them to be careful that the ticket doesn’t blow away in the wind because it might be a winner.”

The lucky ticket was purchased at Ste-Antoine Irving Mainway, which receives a $1,024.71 seller’s prize.
