Drakkar & Partners acquires Transport Help Toronto

SAINT-LAURENT, Que. – Drakkar & Partners has acquired Transport Help Toronto’s assets.

Based in Ontario, Transport Help Toronto specializes in training, recruiting and placing personnel in the industrial and transport sectors.

Operations in Toronto, Barrie and Southwestern Ontario will be taken over May 8.

Roger Roy, Director of operations for Ontario will be responsible for integrating the operations of Transport Help Toronto with those of Drakkar.

The acquisition will allow Drakkar & Partners to extend its service offering and increase its presence in Ontario.

The Drakkar Human Resources Ontario division is projecting growth in sales of more than 408 per cent in 2005 compared to 2003. For this same period, Ontario’s contribution to Drakkar’s overall sales is expected to go from 13.8 per cent to 40 per cent. Company officials predict the company’s overall sales will increase by 35 per cent over the same period.

Drakkar has been in business since 1991.
