CALEDONIA, Ont. — Drive Star Shuttle Systems has a new location in Caledonia, Ont. after purchasing property owned by KRTS Transportation Specialists.

“The decision to invest in this terminal location was made as a part of our long term growth strategy and allows us to build and operate what is likely to be the best in class drive-a-way/decking facility in the country,” Andrew G. Priest, president of Drive Star.

Currently, the Drive Star group operates terminals in two Canadian cities and one in the US. Drive Star is the largest drive-a-way/tow-a-way provider in Canada and in the top five in North America moving in excess of 10,000 vehicles a year.

KRTS will continue to operate their Caledonia location at 23 Industrial Drive. Officials say Drive Star is planning a major expansion of the building.

According to KRTS president Kim Richardson: “This is just not about the sale of the property at our Caledonia location. We view this as another great partnership and strategic alliance with one of the best drive-a-way services in North America. Drive Star is a customer of KRTS and we will look forward to earning more of Drive Stars business as our business relationship grows.”
