Driver days just ahead

SALISBURY, N.B. — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association will be holding its 2004 Driver Appreciation Days Sept. 14-15 at the Salisbury Irving Big Stop.

This is an annual event held in conjunction with National Trucking Week and in recent years, the APTA has hosted upwards of 400 drivers during the two days.

The APTA is asking members for any goodie bag donations or prizes they might be willing to donate in hopes of being able to give every driver something as they head back out on the highway.

As always, fresh fruit, muffins and juice will be served to drivers during the event.

For information or to donate prizes, please contact Chris McKee at 506-855-7282.
