TORONTO, Ont. — Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is reminding drivers the extension to renew their licences, announced during the recent provincial labor disruption, ends Aug. 2.
In order to ensure customer convenience, the province extended drivers’ licences and many vehicle permits, which expired Mar. 13, or later, to Aug. 2. Extended licences and permits also include: driving instructor licences; disabled person parking permits; commercial vehicle permits; temporary (trip) permits and annual oversize/overweight permits.
