Driving for Profit series is coming to Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Ont. — The popular Driving for Profit seminar series is back once again, with its first event of 2009 being held in Cambridge, Ont. at the Holiday Inn Feb. 3.

 

The seminar will touch on two important topics: “Leading Your Trucking Company Through Turbulent Times” and “Driving Profits Through Business Networking.”

 

Dan Goodwill, president of Dan Goodwill and Associates, will discuss the freight recession and will outline some proven strategies and tactics that will help your company survive and prosper during these challenging times. Goodwill has held several executive positions in the industry, including president of Yellow Transportation’s Canada division, president of Clarke Logistics, general manager of the Railfast division of TNT and vice-president, sales and marketing for TNT Overland Express.

 

Allison Graham, resident of Elevate Seminars and Strategic Development, will be using her presentation trucking professionals of all levels hone their business networking skills to achieve success. Graham has recently been featured on CityTV’s Breakfast Television and is the author of Business Cards to Business Relationships; Building the Ultimate Network.

 

The morning seminar will also feature Evan MacKinnon, CEO of MacKinnon Transport, who will be discussing  the benefits of the Truckload Carriers Association.
