Eassons Transport founder laid to rest

BERWICK, N.S. — William Parker Easson, one of the founding partners of Eassons Transport, will be laid to rest at a funeral service in Nova Scotia this afternoon. Easson passed away Tuesday at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville.

 

In addition to founding Eassons Transport with his brother Philip, Bill Easson was also a director of the Canadian Trucking Alliance and a past president of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association.

 

Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. today at the Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St., Berwick. Donations in his memory may be made to the Berwick Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.hclindsayfuneralhome.ca.
