East Coast seminars on U.S. regs to take place

MONCTON, N.B. — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association will host two round table seminars to discuss U.S. regulations.

Steve Piwowarski, a representative of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Maine/Atlantic Canada Division will be on hand to present a seminar covering several relevant topics and answer any questions delegates may have.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include: HoS, Hazmat, SaferStat, cargo securement, final rules for the coming year, drug and alcohol and seat belts.

The seminars will be held on July 20 at the Ramada Crystal Palace Hotel in Moncton, N.B and on July 21 at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Truro N.S. Both seminars run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
