Eaton names new manager for heavy-duty transmission group

GALESBURG, Mich. — A new general manager has been appointed for the Eaton Corporation Truck Group’s NAFTA Heavy-Duty Transmission Division.

Staci Standen will report to Curt Hutchins, president of the Heavy-Duty Transmission business. In this role, Standen will be focused on the NAFTA region and will be responsible for managing the strategic initiatives, customer interactions, commercial strategies and new product programs for the heavy duty business.

“Staci brings a considerable breadth of experience to her new role in the Heavy-Duty Division,” said Hutchins. “Her global experience in leading strategy execution, technical background and operations knowledge will help Heavy Duty achieve its strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement. We look forward to Staci joining our team.”

Standen joined Eaton in 1996 and most recently served as the director of business initiatives for the Automotive Group. Prior to that, she served as the business unit manager for its fuel vapor systems and specialty controls operations. She holds a postgraduate degree in design, manufacturing, and management from Cambridge University, a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
