Eaton rolls out new diagnostic software
Eaton Corp.’s new MD-300 series diagnostic software lets you use your PC to help quickly troubleshoot heavy-duty commercial vehicle electronic systems through an SAE J1587 diagnostic link and a Windows-based graphical interface. A key benefit: the software
eliminates the need for technicians to know and manually enter MID/PID codes. They simply select from a menu, saving time and effort. The software can use any RP1210A compatible communication adapter; Eaton introduced its own adapter–the MD-100 series, along with the MD-200 series Vehicle Diagnostic Scanner–earlier this year. www.eaton.com
