CLEVELAND, Ohio — Eaton Corp. has announced it will eliminate 5,200 jobs worldwide, which will equal the elimination of 10% of its workforce when combined with earlier layoffs, Bloomberg reported.

The company slashed 3,400 jobs last year.

The company said it has experienced a “dramatic deceleration” in demand for its products in truck, automotive and hydraulics operations.
