Edmonton Kenworth adds to its awards collection
EDMONTON, Alta. — Edmonton Kenworth was named 2006 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the U.S. and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Tucson, Ariz.
Its certainly a tremendous honour and privilege for our dealership to be selected as the 2006 Kenworth Dealer of the Year, said Gary M. King, president of Edmonton Kenworth. We have outstanding employees, great Kenworth trucks that are truly the Worlds Best, and loyal customers that we work hard to support every day. Its extremely satisfying to me and our employees to be recognized for our efforts.
Edmonton Kenworth was chosen as Kenworth Dealer of the Year from among Kenworths six Gold Award winners for 2006.
Its no surprise that Edmonton Kenworth once again achieved a remarkable standard of dealer excellence in 2006, said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice-president. Edmonton Kenworth willingly invests in their business to better serve customers, sells Kenworths entire product line from medium-duty to heavy-duty trucks, and has employees that remain extremely motivated and passionate about achieving customer satisfaction.
Edmonton Kenworth services Edmonton and northern Alberta operating facilities which provide truck sales, parts, service, paint, body shop and full-service leasing to the oilfield, logging and highway markets.
The dealer operates three full-service locations, including two in Edmonton. This past year, Edmonton Kenworth relocated its dealership in Lloydminster, Alta., to a new, 19-bay, 37,000 sq.-ft. facility.
The dealership won the 2001 Kenworth Dealer of the Year Award and has won a Kenworth Gold Award for the past four years.
Kenworth also honored its 2006 Silver Award winners, which from Canada included B.C.-based Inland Kenworth.
