EDUCATION: Canadian Intermodal 2004 conference set for next week

Canadian Intermodal 2004, an impressive gathering of key industry stakeholders to discuss pressing issues in the growing mode of transportation, is set to kick off next week.

The event, to be held Sept. 22-23 at The Old Mill in Toronto, will include presentations from the Association of Canadian Port Authorities, the Railway Association of Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency, the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters, the Shipping Federation of Canada as well as the major railways, Consolidated Fastfrate and an intermodalism expert from the University of Calgary.

The event will be chaired by Transportation Media editorial director Lou Smyrlis.
