Espar runs hot or cold

Espar, the manufacturer of auxiliary heating units for heavy trucks, will market two air-conditioning systems to complement its line of cab and engine heaters. The two units are the Bergstrom NITE System, which mounts under the bunk and produces 3,000 BTU/hr, and the DC Airco System, a rooftop unit with 9,000 BTU/hr output. Both are electric, not diesel-fired, and need no outside engines to power them.

Espar plans to offer the AC units with its Airtronic 2 diesel-powered bunk heater to provide cab comfort all year. For information: 1-800/668-5676 or www.espar.com.
