EDMONTON, Alta. — Wright Express, a provider of payment processing and information management services to US and Canadian fleets, has signed an acceptance
agreement to enable Wright Express customers to use their Wright Express Fleet Card at all of Imperial Oils Esso branded locations throughout Canada.

Imperial Oil is the first Canadian fuel merchant to accept the Wright Express card in Canada.

The Imperial Oil coast-to-coast supply network includes close to 2,000 retail outlets and joins more than 180,000 North American retail fuel and vehicle maintenance locations in the Wright Express network.

The fleet service provider hopes the agreement will provide Wright Express, with broader acceptance in Canada.

“This agreement represents a significant step in our plan to meet the needs of fleet customers who need to purchase fuel in Canada and have access to detailed level III data,” said Michael Dubyak, president and CEO of Wright Express.
