Executives from B.C., Ont. Kenworth dealerships named to dealer council

KIRKLAND, Wash. — A pair of Canadian executives have been named to Kenworth’s 2013 Dealer Council. Bill Currie of Inland Kenworth in Burnaby, B.C., and Vince Tarola of Kenworth Truck Centres in Concord, Ont. were chosen from among the nearly 340 Kenworth dealerships in Canada and the US and Canada to serve on the council. Among the council’s objectives is to “enhance and promote” Kenworth’s “dealer network in a continuing effort to provide superior customer support,” the company said in a release.

The US-based members of the 2013 council are: Chairman – Jim Moeller, Wisconsin Kenworth, Madison, Wis.; Tom Bertolino, NorCal Kenworth, Sacramento, Calif.; Carl Herzog, Central Illinois Trucks, Normal, Ill.; Bob Mitchell, Truckworx Kenworth, Birmingham, Ala.; and Mike Murphy, MHC Kenworth, Leawood, Kan. Jim Hartman of Truck Enterprises in Harrisonburg, Va. will serve as the Kenworth American Truck Dealers (ATD) line representative.

“We appreciate the ongoing, dedicated efforts of these Kenworth dealer executives who work in close cooperation with Kenworth Truck Company to further enhance and strengthen the excellence of our customer support throughout the United States and Canada,” said Preston Feight, Kenworth assistant general manager for marketing and sales.
