WINNIPEG, Man. — Members of the 4-H Club will be taking to the highways across Manitoba this weekend for their annual spring highway cleanup.

The province’s Transport Department is asking all drivers to take special care this weekend while driving through the province.

“We are asking all drivers to exercise special caution and watch for these young people working along Manitoba’s roadways,” said Transport Minister Ron Lemieux. “We have put safety measures in place. However, these hardworking 4-H members are performing a great job and deserve the co-operation of motorists for a safe experience.”

If the weather is poor, the cleanup will take place the following weekend.
