GRANDVIEW, Mo. — Tim Gilbert has joined Peterson Manufacturing as Corporate Director of Heavy-Duty Fleet and Trailer OEM Sales, a newly expanded position at the company.

Formerly with Reyco Granning, makers of heavy-duty truck and trailer suspensions, Gilbert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job, noted the company.

As Peterson further sharpens its focus on the traditional heavy-duty market, Gilbert believes the company is strongly positioned to compete for business.

“Our position in the heavy-duty aftermarket has always been strong,” he says. “Now, with our rapidly expanding production facilities and some exciting new lighting and wiring technology, Peterson can offer OEMs and fleets the total package — a single, integrated safety lighting solution.”

Gilbert will direct a sales effort targeting major OEMs and fleets — primarily tanker, van, bus and motorhome accounts.
