FedEx Canada awarded for exceptional customer commitment

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Federal Express Canada has one of the best customer service systems in the world, according to ContactCenterWorld.com.

The package delivery giant received the “Best Contact Center World Award 2007” for mid-size call centers.

The international panel of judges awarded the prize to FedEx Canada for its ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience through focusing on the performance culture of its employees.

The contest included presentations from the different competing countries and corporations, a question-and-answer from the audience, and the opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion for further learning and development for all participants.

Raj Wadhwani, president of ContactCenterWorld.com said, “This has been an amazing awards program. Many describe it as a combination of the Olympics and ‘American Idol’ as it’s about nations as well as corporations competing, and the entrants are judged by the audience who are also industry experts. FedEx was one of more than 600 entrants worldwide representing the best from 61 nations around the globe, and to be named best in the world for mid sized contact centers is an amazing feat.”
