Fergus truck show named one of Ontario’s best again
FERGUS, Ont. (Mar. 17, 2005) — For the second straight year, the Fergus Truck Show was named one of the Top 50 Ontario Festivals 2005.
The truck show — which features a popular truck show & shine, truck pull, as well as other events for truckers and their families — was one of three thousand Ontario festivals and community events, ranging from one-day street fairs to international celebrations, to be considered.
“It is a true honour to receive this recognition,” said Fergus show administrator Sherry Clarke. “This prestigious recognition is a direct result of the devotion and dedication of so very many people — the directors, the service and sport groups and individual volunteers who assist the show.
The 20th annual show — which is expected to attract 200 vendors displaying trucks, trailers, and other equipment and accessories — will be held between July 22-24 at the Fergus Community Centre, in Fergus, Ont.
