FIFTH-WHEEL TRAINING
Fontaine International has introduced online fifth-wheel training in four modules. There’s no charge involved.
The first is called ‘Product Identification’ in which users learn to identify and differentiate between Fontaine fifth wheels, brackets and mounts. The second is ‘No-Slack II Rebuild’ that shows how to rebuild a Fontaine No-Slack II fifth wheel. ‘No-Slack II Coupling/Uncoupling’ helps users learn proper fifth-wheel coupling/uncoupling procedures. And the fourth module – ‘No-Slack II Maintenance Procedures’ – offers instruction on proper maintenance procedures.
Each module provides a variety of resources for review, including training videos, instruction handbooks, technical bulletins, illustrations and more, followed by a multiple-choice quiz. The website keeps track of which modules a participant has completed.
