First Canadian executive member elected to WIT

CAMBRIDGE, Ont. — Jayne Gunn, recruiting supervisor for Challenger Motor Freight Inc., is the first Canadian woman elected to the Executive Board of WIT (Women In Trucking) a newly-established group that finds opportunities to promote the accomplishments of women in the tndustry.

“I am honoured to have been elected to work with WIT and represent the organization on this side of the border,” said Gunn. “The number of women entering the transportation industry is continuously increasing and we need a platform in which we can be heard.” commented Gunn on her appointment.
