FKI Logistex names Christopher Bryan new finance VP

FREDERICK, Md. — FKI Logistex, a provider of integrated material handling solutions, has announced the appointment of Christopher Bryan as vice president of finance for its North American Airport, Post and Parcel division.

A certified public accountant, Bryan began his career as a staff and project accountant for James Covington Construction Co. and Balfour Beatty Construction Co. after graduating from the University of West Florida with a BA in finance in 1990.

Bryan joined Firearms Training Systems, Inc. in 1994 as general accounting supervisor. He was promoted to general accounting manager and then to corporate accounting manager before leaving in 1997.

In 1997, Bryan joined Harris Waste Management Group, Inc., a sister company of FKI Logistex, as controller for a regional operation. He was subsequently promoted to group controller and then to vice president of finance in 2000.

“Chris joins FKI Logistex during a great period of growth for the Airport, Post and Parcel group,” said John Kelly, division president. “Having been promoted within the FKI family of companies, Chris brings with him a comprehensive understanding of our company’s financial management and reporting systems. We look forward to his contribution as a member of the executive team.”
