HERNDON, Vir. — GeoLogic Solutions has announced three U.S.-based carriers are equipping their tractors with the company’s MobileMax multi-mode mobile communication and tracking system.

Don Hummer Trucking (145 trucks), Diversified Transfer and Storage and Hendrickson Trucking (140 power units) have all signed on with GeoLogic Solutions.

"We’ve been using GeoLogic’s technology since 1997 for fast, reliable mobile communications and to know where our loads are at all times," said Cathy Johnson, general manager with Don Hummer Trucking. "The reasons we decided to upgrade to new MobileMax units include the system’s better overall cost of operation compared to the competition. Also, our IT staff and drivers are very pleased with how user-friendly the MobileMax units are, and how reliable the systems have been. In addition, the company’s support service has been very good."

The new customers also cited improved response time with drivers and dispatchers and the ability to transmit up to date load status information as reasons for the purchases.

“We are pleased to see our current customers upgrading to the MobileMax system,” said Sean Dorney, vice-president of sales and marketing for GeoLogic Solutions. “These new system purchases are a clear indication that our customers are satisfied with our services and confident that our product technology advancements will continue to meet their mobile communications needs.”
