FleetSmart to hold series of workshops

OTTAWA, Ont. — Natural Resources Canada will be holding a series of FleetSmart technical workshops over the months of March and April across Canada.

Organized jointly with the Canadian Association of Motive Power Educators (CAMPE), the workshops will present the latest developments of the FleetSmart program and will present tools to assist fleets that are involved in fuel efficiency improvements, as well as present case studies involving transport fleets and manufacturers.

Some of the discussion topics will include; the use and applications of on-board technologies; the ECM and its functions; the users’ views and the energy efficiency audit program for fleets.

The workshops will be held as follows:

Mar. 19 New Brunswick Community College, Bathurst, N.B. 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Mar. 22 Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Calgary, Alta. 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mar. 23 British Columbia Institute of Technology, Vancouver, B.C. 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Mar. 31 New Brunswick Community College, Moncton, N.B. 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Apr. 7 Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, Ont. 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
