Flipping over liftgate

Waltco Truck Equipment
Waltco Truck Equipment Co. now offers the MPF Series Flipaway, a liftgate designed to increase the delivery potential of low-bed vehicles.

The MPF Series, available in 2,500- or 3,300-pound lifting capacities, features a large, two-piece level-ride platform. The liftgate’s wide-arm configuration ensures load stability and allows the liftgate to be mounted on vehicles equipped with a stationary receiver-type hitch for towing trailers.

The MPF Flipaway is ideally suited for trucks equipped with roll-up doors or stake body vehicles, according to the company. For easy operation, the MPF Series Flipaway features a torsion-assisted folding platform that requires less than 40 pounds of force to open and close.

The Waltco SuperSwitch control lets drivers operate the liftgate from the ground or bed level. The MPF Series is equipped with the company’s Thermalpak with Voltage Guard, a built-in safety feature that shuts down the power to the liftgate before heat build-up or low voltage due to a bad ground, which can cause permanent damage to the liftgate motor.
