COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins has estimated that recent flood damage to four of its sites will exceed $100 million, according to a report on therepublic.com.

A Cummins rep has said that the company’s insurance will cover all of the damages, except the deductible and that three out of four sites will continue operations

The Columbus Engine Plant, Columbus Technical Center and the occupational health centre will remain open while leaders discuss what to do with the Cummins Child Development Center. One option would have a daycare facility built at another location.
