Fontaine Cast Fifth Wheel
Fontaine has introduced a cast fifth wheel, a departure from the pressed steel fifth wheels the company is known for.
The new 7000 Series contains all the features that make the 6000 Series popular, while giving customers the choice where their preference is for a cast wheel. In addition to its patented No-Slack adjustment feature that resets the jaw on every lock, the new 7000-Series cast wheel has a computer-aided design for the reinforced mounting and surface contact area that give it additional stability and durability. The fifth wheel also incorporates the Fontaine safety trigger that prevents the high-hitch miscouple.
