For a great time, visit Great Lakes Truck Club show in Clifford

CLIFFORD, Ont. — If you’re a fan of classic trucks, you’ll find plenty on display at the Great Lakes Truck Club’s annual antique classic truck show in Clifford, Ont. July 3-5.

The event kicks off July 3 at 9 a.m. The trucks will be rolling in through the day and the Rotary Food Booth and Beer Garden will be open from 11:30 a.m. till 8 p.m.

Saturday July 4 will feature the trucks all ady as well as activities, with the spectator gates opening at 9 a.m. and remaining open till 8 p.m. A BBQ pork chop dinner will be held at 6 p.m.

The show will also run Sunday, with classic trucks likely rolling out through the day. Free breakfast, sponsored by Ayr Peterbilt/Cervus Trucks, will be available Sunday morning for those who display their trucks in the show.

New this year is the Altruck International-sponsored International Harvester Corral. This section will pay tribute to International and International Harvester trucks from the past century.

Camping is available and is half price for those who show their trucks. Quiet time begins at 10 p.m. and no rowdy behaviour will be permitted.

Owners will newer show trucks are welcome to attend, as long as the trucks maintain a classic-styled theme (ie. external air cleaners, exposed stacks and hopefully retro paint schemes), according to organizers.
